Reading

Kilee is reading now. Kindergarten has been amazing. She read a book called In The City to us last night. She's been in school 100 days as of this past Friday. Wow, time flies. She knows tons of words. My most favorite thing she's written on her own is a card she made me and wrote"I love you mom". It really touched me. She doesn't understand how she can melt my heart. She knows the words love, can, be, the, mom, dad, nana, poppy, cab, city, be, had, dog, etc.  She made a pic at school last week and it was a red chili and above it she wrote my family likes to eat at chili's. So cute.

Pneumonia

Spent 6 hrs at Children's Hospital on Saturday. Kilee has waking pneumonia and a double ear infection. The coughing is so bad it causes her to throw up. I feel so bad for her. Wish I could take it all away. Today is Thursday so she's actually a whole lot better.

Growing so fast

Kilee's growing so fast. She's going to be 6 soon. She's very smart. She started kindergarten August 14. By the second day of school she knew the entire pledge of allegiance. School had taught her so much. She can now do get alphabet and can count to 25. It's amazing. She got into trouble last week because she took her pencil and drew on the back of her chair. Mr. Maddox is her teacher. He seems pretty firm. He's African American. Kilee hasn't been around many didn't cultures.
We're having a tough time getting Kilee to sleep in her own bed. At 3 she stopped sleeping in her room after a visit to my mom's. We finally got her to start back in Feb of this year before moving to Oak Ridge. She was doing great until July.

Having a baby is the most wonderful thing in the world. There is no reason to even live if it wasn't for her.

Funny Things

Kilee cracks me up so much. Here's some of the funniest things she says:

PB & J sandwich is a buhrachet
Hold me is hold you, then it went to hold you me
When she has to poopoo she says "i have to poopoo the rocks" and she'll say "i poopoo the rocks i get candy"

She's so loving and will just gently brush my hair away from my face and kiss my forehead. She is constantly saying "i love you" and "I love you more". She'll say "i love you so much".
She tells me and her daddy that we are her best friend. Sometimes daisy, too.
She loves daisy. She laughs and giggles when daisy "kisses" her and she gets really, really upset when daisy won't kiss her. They are two peas in a pod.

She has a ball dancing, playing and loves diego and dora and spongebob. spiderman, mermaid and princess are huge favorites. she loves watching nemo.

One of her best friends at school is dyson, whom, she hit a couple weeks ago because he took her choo choo train. she got in big trouble and got time out.

Spongebob used to be bob bob, then bobby, now it's bobby squarepants.

She gets coughs alot. She's got a cold or something right now and she's extra loving when she's sick.

If I raise my voice or get firm with her she says "mommy not so mad" or "mommy not so mean" and then says "mommy be nice to friends".

We were at a nice restaurant yesterday and she was misbehaving and i grabbed her arm. she said "mommy don't hurt me again". i was so embarrassed. oh, and after that she started announcing to the whole restaurant that she "i have to poopoo the rocks mommy". "i need go potty poopoo the rocks". humiliating.

at my great grandmother's (GG's) funeral last week during the funeral she decided to announce to everyone that she needed to poopoo the rocks. mike took her and they snook back in and she was yelling, "mommy i poopoo the rocks, i want candy". omg, i was petrified.

she loves suckers. her favorite foods are mac & cheese, pb sandwiches, chips, poptarts, mashed potatoes, chef boyardee, chicken nuggets, fries, ketchup!!, eggs, applesauce and juice.

She loves her cousin Gracie and talks about her all the time. She adores Nate & Crystal and shows off when they come over. she loves them so much.

She's very attached to her nana (my mom).

My 25 month old little spark of life

I love everyday with my little baby. Fixin to be a Mr. Mom. My wifes going back to work and now I'm out of work again. It's going to be a fun new year. TVA was a good year but htis next year will be better.
